So you have landed across yet ANOTHER healthy living blog. Just like every other one out there, you’re going to find recipes and tips and ticks on how to live a healthy life. Expected right? Well little do you know, we do things a little bit different here.
Along with tons of super healthy recipes, you’re actually going to find recipes abundant in butter and sugar.
What?!?!.. but that’s not healthy!!! If you think this, you are unfortunately mistaken.
You are not alone though. Due to the media always bashing food groups that we admittedly (or secretly) love, we have begun to believe that food can be categorized as either good or bad.
According to the media you are pretty much limited to only having low fat, low calorie, low carb, gluten free, meat free, dairy free, and sugar free food. Hence why so many diets out there fail.
I do agree with the media on one thing though. We (especially Americans) really do need to work on reducing the amount of processed and refined foods we eat. That is why I love cooking and baking. You have control over the ingredients you use.
So now I want you to throw away any preconceived idea of what is good and what is bad for you and just focus on this one rule of thumb: Whole foods, lots of fruits and vegetables, and EVERYTHING in moderation.
Enjoy looking through my blog. I have a wide variety of delicious recipes for you to try out from recipes great for you athletes out there to recipes for those of us who just need some chocolate in our systems
Below I have put together my top five recipes to get you started. Also make sure to check out my daily blogs and my favorites page to see just what I do when I’m not blogging and where you can get the products I use for many of my recipes.
